Dutch Pea Soup Kathy Van Wyk, First Place Contest 2008 1 cup whole dried peas and 1 cup split dried peas (do not have to cover with water overnight first.) Mix all ingredients together. Cover and put in oven at 350 degrees for 5 hours. Dutch Spiced Cookies First place winner 2008 Barb Mathes 2 cups brown sugar Cream the sugar and butter together. Add the egg. Add the dry ingredients. Roll into walnut-sized balls, roll in sugar, and place on a cookie sheet. Press down with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes. |
