Creamy Basil Sauce 2 cups fresh basil Place basil and garlic in a food processor, process while adding in the oil slowly. Process for thirty seconds or until thick. Add in the nuts and cheese, process for an additional minute. In a pan over low heat, bring cream to a simmer. Once simmering, pour cream immediately into processor with basil mixture, and then pulse for twenty seconds. Pour mixture into pan with remaining cream, and bring back to a simmer. Let cook for about five minutes, or until thick, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. |
