The Marion County Board of Supervisors and the Departments of Marion County Government would like to announce the availability of a comprehensive county government website for Marion County located at:

The purpose of the website is to bring the information and services of Marion County Government to the citizens of the Marion County community at home and at work, 24 hours a day / 7 days a week / 365 days a year.

The new website includes an Election Center, Office Profiles and Duties, Public Notices, searchable Board of Supervisor Minutes and Agenda, Services Center, Articles of Local Interest, Local Emergency Resources, Photo Galleries, Local, State and Federal Links, County and/or State Forms, downloadable Maps, Area Historical Information, Community Information, County Job Vacancies, and more. This website also serves as a portal linking various specialized departmental sites, and state and federal government web sites. Marion County Government has also tried to bring the community of Marion County with its’ people, resources, and assets to the World Wide Web.

Most of the updating of information and expansion of the website is being done in-house by county personnel to keep the site current and up-to-date.

This new website was created in collaboration with Solutions, Inc., and Inukshuk Technologies, LLC, both of Spencer Iowa. These companies, and their personnel, have many years of experience in the roles, functions, and technological needs of County Government in Iowa in general, and a long history and in-depth knowledge of Marion County in particular.
