New Staff at Pella Regional
Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer Join Rehabilitation Staff at Pella Regional Health Center
 Physical therapist Amy Herdegen (left), DPT and athletic trainer Erin Bower (right), ATC have joined the Rehabilitation team at Pella Regional Health Center. Both practice in the main hospital in Pella from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Herdegen received her B.S. from Dordt College in 2005, and then her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa in 2007. She has worked at the University of Iowa and completed clinical internships at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Performance Therapies in Cedar Rapids and Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Bower received her B.A. from Central College in May, 2010. She has worked with athletes from many sports including football, basketball, volleyball, softball and baseball, track and tennis. She has worked on prevention as well as treatment with both male and female athletes. She is a member of the National Athletic Training Association.
Pella Regional’s physical therapists treat orthopedic, medical, surgical, neurological, and emergency cases on an inpatient, outpatient, home health and hospice care basis. Along with the physical therapy services provided in Pella, therapy is also provided at Pella Regional’s Knoxville location on North Lincoln and in Sully at the Diamond Trail Fitness Center.
